Hi there..

I have a fresh Fedora 2 install, S3 Savage4 video card, and a Philips
170 B2 LCD monitor.

No matter which video player I try to use, standalone or embedded in
my browser (firefox or konqueror) all I get is this green/pink static
screen. The timer show information as if the video is actually playing
so apparently the video length info is always known. I can also hear
the audio of whatever clip I'm playing.

The behavious is pretty consistent across mplayer, realplayer, and
xine. I have the following versions installed:

mplayer: 1.0-0.11
RealPlayer: 10.0.1
xine: 0.99.2

These are the latest according to freshrpms.net.

On my Fedora Core 1 install, on the same machine, and all the same
hardware, I had no issues with video.

What could be wrong with my machine?

Thank you.
Omi
