The system seems to be turning off the NIC when it finishes sending or
receiving any data.
When trying to connect to a web site I can see the router light to that RH
box blinking on and off slowly as though trying to establish a connection.
When it succeeds it starts to blink the usual way, very fast that is.
If the connect fails it turns of completely.
I have never seen anything like this before.
