Four attempts at overnight downloads of erdora (oops, sorry about the F in
Fedora).
Two failed after loading something like 98%.
One failed the check sum.
And one failed because mumble I mumble Forgot mumble To mumble Change the
destination directory and I only have a little one. tmp directory I mean,
cheeky!
Blow that for a lark, who's selling the DVD's then?
Personally I like a bit of snobbery, I like the idea that poor people and
farmers who are on 56k dial up modems can't have Redhat. But I suspect they
are pretty miffed by it.
PS: Don't go jumping on me from a height, all of my seven works servers are
redhat linux, bought and paid for. Just fancied something to replace my
beloved but ageing home system.
Ta.
