    Aloha everyone,
I have a question for those who have successfully installed Fedora Core 3
Test 3. Did anyone experience an inordinate amount of lag time - ie., the
computer seemingly doing nothing at all for long periods of time? I've
tried installing from both the DVD and the box set (I downloaded them from
www.linuxiso.org), but the install seemed to hang every time I attempted the
install. When I first installed the Fedora disc, it first hung when it got
to 'running /sbin/loader' then was extremely slow through the package
selection. It really slowed down after everything was set up and it began
to install the OS. When I installed Core 2, I did not have this problem.
My question is whether anyone else has experienced this problem and if
anyone knows why this is happening. Thus far, I've only "wasted" four CD-Rs
and one DVD-R, so it's really not that bad thus far, but I would like to
know if anyone used ftp sites other than those on www.linuxiso.org - if so,
please let me know your site, in the hopes that I can actually download a
    "good" copy of Core 3.

Thanks in advance for your reply,

    William Jones
