Running RH AS 3.0 2.4.21-15.EL, the wifi card in the pcmcia slot works
great. No problems at all.. Boot it up, it works. I ran a "make
mrproper; make oldconfig", loaded the .config into "make menuconfig",
added the "NTFS (read only) module, compiled it with "make dep; make
clean; make dep; make bzImage; make modules; make modules_install". I
get a working kernel, but I have to manually load the yenta_socket
module with modprobe then restart pcmcia to get the card to work. Any
ideas about how to get this working without having to manually load the
module?
TIA
