mouse crashing

Hello all,

I am running Fedora Core 1 with a logitech optical mouse. Occasionally,
the mouse crashes (as it has now :) ). It does not appear to be a
hardware problem since the optical light is still reacting to movement.

How do I restart the mouse? Why would this happen?

Thank you,

Dan Elliott
