Printers...

I have RH 9. It was set up properly, but on my Cannon S300 printer the
blacks were always too grey for my liking. When I was using Mandrake, I
could reset the stpGamma to make the blacks darker, but no such luck in
RH. I put another printer on - an HP Deskjet 3320, and now all of the
jobs line up in the print queue but don't get to the printer. On
startup, it detected the printer and said it was installing it, but it
never did show up in the print manager, so I manually installed it. Now
everything looks to be correct, but still nothing from the printer - no
test page or anything else.

Any suggustions? I must be misssing something simple.
