It does read the DVD but it will not play them (movies). I associated
the type file on the DVD to Ogle. I installed LIBDVDCSS, LIBMAD,
LIBDVDREAD, OGLE and Ogle_GUI, all from RPMs. LIBXML2 is already there.
So, it does work as a DVD drive to read data (I am assuming it will
execute data since I don't have a regular data DVD). I put in a DVD
movie, Ogle starts and nothing happens from there. No menu, can't open
DVD, won't play, nothing. Ogle just sits there. As I said, I added the
command line "options ide-cd dma=1" to the /etc/modules.conf file. That
is what I have done and what it does. Like I said, the drive does "see"
the files, but does not execute them.
