Xine shutdown immediately

    I have FC3 running with an AMD K7 Athlon processor. I use GNOME window
    manaer. I installed the following packages from
    http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine

    libxine1-1_cvs-041127.k7.rpm
    xine-ui-0.99.2cvs-041127.i586.rpm

    However, whenever I clicked xine icon the splash image showed up and
    shutdown immediately. What am I doing wrong?

    I tried to downloaded the lib and ui and followed the step described
    in http://xinehq.de/index.php/faq#BUILDING. When I execute
    ./configure, it just threw up many erros and abandoned the
    installation.

    I have MPlayer installed, I just want to compare it with Xine. Thanks
    for your help.
