Backup everything, docs, text files, configuration settings and anything
that you find of value. Pretend that your hard drive(s) died, what would
you need to get the system back up and what you need to work with from day
to day.

Download (since you already have Red Hat Linux 8.0) the four Fedora Core 3
i386 ISO's or the one dvd ISO from; http://fedora.redhat.com/

When done creating the installation media and double checking the backup
wipe and load. Too many changes from RHL8.0 to FC3 to guarantee a clean
problem free update (2.6 series kernel and udev for examples).
