This sounds like a good book. Is there any way to get a test version or
demo version of Oracle to run on Fedora?
Does it support RPM in the same way red hat Mandrake 7.1 did?
As I understand it the core is basic operating environment Correct me
if I am wrong but isn't it devoid of applications and device drivers?
Is this Redhat version Slackware?
I would hope the RPM command would work as part of the core2 but I have
not taken the plunge yet.
Redhat was smart because they both understand the necessity of a user
development /open source environment , however , they also understand a
need for high standard software with a high price tag.
I would hope RPM would still work under Fedora and software such as
Oracle would still be usable in such an environment.
Any help on that would be appreciated.
