FC3 sound ERRS !

    Running FC3, all upgrades up to today 1/16/05, on a
    Toshiba laptop. Trying to get some sound going, all are erratic.
    The back trace for several are below.
    Lots of other sound apps broke too.

    Seems things are getting worse for RH, RH 9 & RH7.3 worked the best.
