printer/scanner problems

    I have installed fedora core 1 on my box and have a hp psc 1210
    multifunction printer. During install, kudzu recognized my printer with no
    problem. After install I downloaded hpijs-1.5 and hpoj-0.91 drivers as
    required for that model. I ran "ptal-init setup" from console and it
    recognized my printer with no problem. These are the steps I used to run
    my printer with rh9 and everything worked like a champ. My scanner under
    fedora core 1 works with no problem, but my printer queues every job and
    that is as far as I get. Anyone know what Im doing wrong or simply not
    doing? Thanks....
