Red Hat AS3 + Software Raid Options

    Hi

    I have the following IBM x330 with 2 * 36Gb disk, and a Netapps Disk shelf
    containing 7 * 18Gb disks.

    For the setup and configuration of software RAID, is LVM the best choice.

    When I installed the operating system, I had a single 36Gb disk. Now I wish
    to mirror the disk to the second 36Gb disk which will contain all the boot
    and root stuff. I want the root volumes to be fully mirrored to protect
    against disk failure. On the disk shelf I want to put in a single RAID 5
    volume.

    Can someone point me to a good note on how to do this?
