OK so I'm trying to install Fedora Core 2. But I'm having problems.

There's two "specifics" that are "special" on this box?
* Its 2 x PIII 1GHz (dual CPU box)
* Its SCSI BIOS booting: Symbios SCSI board and a 18GB SCSI disk
(.. I've tried installing another OS so I know the h/w is OK.)

During install I'm manually loading the SCSI module: sym53c8xx -
which is located on the FC2 CD1.
But still the installer quits and dies at the point it's about to format the
SCSI disk. Im starting the installer with the parameter:
linux hdc=none

Any ideas?
