Not really, do a little planing up front, grab the initscripts rpm from
FC1 and remember to use the actual partitions (root=/dev/hda2) instead
of the partition labels (root=/dev/hda2). Here's a couple of old links

FYI: the 2.6.11 kernel is the way to go.
