Still need modems to fax. And it's easy to set up on Mandrake. I'd
suggest any USRobotics external. Any modem hooked up to the serial port
will work in linux. You can still find some internal hardware modems on
ebay also. PCI are harder. My comp has my last isa port that holds my
old standby USR internal 56K. When I upgrade next and can't have an isa
port I've got an external that I keep for safety also that works fine.
