need help kde login manager graphics

I running fc3 and I upgraded to kde 3.4, I edit my
/etc/sysconfig/desktop file for kde desktop and displaymanager but login
screen look a lot like gnome login. I made changes to Control-center -->
System Admin --> Login Manager to add logo, clock, and background but
they don't appear at login (I can see the background flashs as it goes
from login screen to kde splash screen).
I did upgrade another system to kde 3.4 a few mths ago and did not have
this problem.
