CLI configuration tool for recovering broken X in RHEL 4?

One of our users has gotten a RHEL, and it has been a while since I
donned a Red Hat. What did they do with Xconfigurator? What is the
replacement for this tool nowadays? How do I get this Nvidia driver
back up and happy?
