I have a machine acting as an NFS server. I have a problem with trying
    to connect to
the mounted filesystems from my main linux box complaing the nfs server
    is down.

I get the server to work properly, but after a short period of time, the
    server registers as
'down' and I am unable to mount the remote filesystems. Has anyone else
    seen this behaviour?

    Joe
