In that case, it should be possible to install the bootloader on hda
from the rescue shell. For example, if you installed Fedora on
/dev/hdb1, then you could boot the installer in rescue mode, run
/mnt/sysimage/sbin/grub, and then enter the following on the command
line:
root (hd1,0)
setup (hd0)
"/mnt/sysimage/sbin/grub-install" might work too, but using grub
directly is probably more reliable if you know where you installed the
system.
