I have just downloaded a file called FC-5-i386-DVD.iso from

When trying to burn it to DVD, using Nero, the following error message
appears:

Foreign Image file
The entered block size does not correspond to the image length. The block
size may be wrong. Do you want to correct the value or ignore the problem?
(The options are Correct and Ignore).

Does this mean that the file is corrupted? It took nearly 5 hours to
download, so I am reluctant to repeat the process.

I've only used linux to burn a DVD so I don't know about nero...
there should be a hash file ( called SHA1SUM or MD5SUM or something
similar ) that has a list of checksums for each file. If there is
and you can find a file for your OS that will run the checksum for
your then you can compare what you downloaded with that they gave
you. For example... if I run
sha1sum FC-5-x86_64-DVD.iso
on my box in the directory where I downloaded the DVD.iso image it
tells me:
0429be10e3df5a3ec118ca32802aa44cdf89c6c5 FC-5-x86_64-DVD.iso
I can compare that checksum value against the one listed on
the website where I downloaded the .iso and tell me if it's good
or not....
