Re: FC6 cannot see my /hdb1 anymore

Hi,

I made a fresh install of FC6 and one of the partitions cannot be
mounted. I'm getting this message:
"/dev/hdb1 already mounted or /hdb1 busy"

When I type: "umount /dev/hdb1" I got: "/dev/hdb1" not mounted.

The drive shows up with a "dmesg" command ("hdb:hdb1"). Also, when I
put the hard disk in a FC4 based system, it recognizes it properly as
an ext2 filesystem, just like it was before the upgrade...

Any suggestions are wecomed.

Dunno if this is applicable not, but hey, you said "any suggestions welcome".

Some people have reported similar problems when the dmraid package was installed.
Their solution was to remove the dmraid package.
