I have a FC4 release on a test machine as of now. But am having some

This is group is fine for asking questions. You can also post them to the
Fedora Forums http://forums.fedoraforum.org/
If you are having trouble doing the download I'd suggest that you try a
different mirror, there are a lot of them,
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html
With any Fedora release the first thing you should do after installing it
is do an update. You should also install yumex if you haven't already.
Yumex is a graphical package installer/updater, it's much better then
anything that Redhat provides.
To do the update, open up a terminal window and do the following,
su (you'll have to give your root password here)
yum -y update
yum -y install yumex
You should also install webmin, get it from http://www.webmin.com
Webmin is a browser based admin tool, you access it by doing
http://machine_name:10000 from any system on your LAN. Webmin works with
just about any Linux distribution. It's very easy to use, and it will give
you a good idea about all the services that you have available to you. To
install webmin, download the RPM and then do,
su
rpm -Uhv webmin-1.310-1.noarch.rpm
.
