rpmdb-redhat rhelv5

Hi,
unless I seem to have missed somthing is it that RedHat 5 has no rpmdb-redhat. I figured that out since rpm -ivh --aid asdf.rpm is not working, i.e. that any dependencies are not added.
Could someone help me here?
