What distrib should I best download i386 or x86_64 ?

Fedora 7 is just Fedora 7. There's no more Core. 32-bit vs. 64-bit can
be a bit of a religious war at times. If you have so much RAM or intend
to create files so big that a 32-bit OS can't handle them, then use the
64-bit OS. Are you running any software that requires a 64-bit OS,
etc? Otherwise it probably doesn't matter.
I don't have any particular 64bit need. I just thought it was faster.

I think I'll just stick with the 32 bit distrib.

Thanks

The 64 bit version does feel a little faster. In the past there was a
concern that you couldn't run some 32 bit media players on 64 bit Linux.
However I don't think that's true anymore. I installed F7 64 and I was
able to run mplayer on it without any problem.
