Well, ok...got you to read it didn't I?
Actually, its very important.
Once in a while, my boot floppy that I use to boot Suse fails to work or
Lilo goes scrappy on my and I can't boot Suse.
I've already lerned from experience that it is best to not use the MBR
because I run another OS too and it could screw that on up, so I use a boot
floppy and everyone is happy.......except when that thing stops working.
So, the QUESTION is:
How do I make a lilo boot disk again without having to "install" linux all
over again. (I normally just use existing partitions and make a stripped
down install, but it still take 20 munutes. Luckily everything is still
there and still works)
I certainly would like to be able to fix the bootloader and all without a
reinstall.
