Stig, just out of curiosity have a go with the .run file and see what happens,
I am running 8.1 and it works fine.

I had initial problems but that was down to the version of G/force I had, G/F
3 ti 200, some of the older cards had a prob with the graphic bios on the
card which caused X to hang on startup but all that is needed is to add an
extra option in the xf86config file.

Just follow the instructions and don`t forget that when it says it can`t find
a driver and do you want to download another one answer NO and it will
compile a new on for you only takes about 30 secs on a amd 2800.
