I put my laptop on a wireless PCMCIA AFTER hardwiring my server, the laptop is
on 98SE, the server is on 8.2

the dsl modem feeds into a LinkSys wireless/4 port cable/dsl with the server
running into the primary port.
seamless setup with Linux SuSE and the laptop is across the house working
happily in wireless mode...
