Hi,
Anyone know how to convert an already fully setup Suse8.2 to a softraid
mirror?
I am booting from a 15MB /boot partition an scsi with / 7.9GB on the
same drive and I would like to mirror it on a 7.)GB partition on the
second IDE. I tried setting up softraid in yast but when booting I am
running into problems. I assume the reason is that the data is not yet
copied on the mirror. Found a thread further down mentioning
>p -Rpud or rsync -a
but would be happy if anyone has some more detailed
instructions/experience since stting the system back when things don't
raid does not boot is always a bit of a nightmare.
