Check http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/key_form.html and search using key
"vmware". Basically, you need to copy two files:
cp /boot/vmlinuz.version.h /usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h
cp /boot/vmlinuz.autoconf.h /usr/src/linux/include/linux/autoconf.h
