Help a newbie!! I can't browse the web using SuSE 8.1 Prof

Hi,

I got Linux installed, but I can't browse the web. What do I do?

pinging works, e.g. I can ping www.bbc.co.uk and it works fine, but
I've got no way to surf the web,

Please help me, I'm used to Microsoft software and I don't know where
to start. Gulp!!
