Print over CUPS on a Windows XP Printer - Problem

Hi,

i have a little problem. I want to print on a Windows XP - Printer (HP
DeskJet 980 CXI with USB). I installed the printer with CUPS, found the
HOST on 192.168.123.176 and the printer queue (HP980CXI), as I installed
it on the Windows XP.

CUPS says after checking the connection, the samba/windows-printer is
ok. Then i select the type of printer (HP - DeskJet 980 C). But when I
press the "TEST" button nothing happens.

Does anyone knows theis problem and can help me?

Hallo,

ich habe ein kleines Problem. Ich möchte auf einem Windows XP Drucker (HP
DeskJet 980 CXI an USB) ausdrucken. Unter Linux habe ich den Drucker mit
CUPS installiert, HOST 192.168.123.176 und Warteschlange "HP980CXI), wie
auf dem Windows XP Rechner auch eingestellt.

CUPS meldet mir auch, das die Warteschlange auf dem Windows Rechner bereit
sei. Dann habe ich den Druckertyp HP DeskJet 980 C unter CUPS gewählt. Doch
wenn ich den TEST-Button drücke passiert gar nichts.

Kennt irgendjemand das Problem und kann mir helfen?
