I guess you wanted eztra functionality for mplayer...the best way in my
opinion to do that, is to use the source rpm from suse. Put it in
/usr/src/packages/SRPM and place the codecs in the right dir's and do a rpm
--rebuild MPlayerxxxx.src.rpm
this should build you a rpm which you can easily isntall with yast...
