Hello Everyone,

I would like to install Suse Linux 8.2 by internet. Therefore I have
downloaded the Suse Bootdisk and burnt it on CD-ROM. As Suse explained on
it's website you must enter the installation source at the bootprompt
(install=ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/current/) After choosing the manual
installation I was asked to load my network card drivers before continuing.
So I paid a visit to the driver loading section. I have got a REALTEK RTL
8029(AS) PCI Ethernet Adapter. As you might know is there no driver in the
list who matches exactly. Therefore I tried a driver which came from the
same series. After selection I was prompted for a parameter (indeed not
further specified than just "parameter"). I tried to fill in several things,
like IP adressess and path's. Even leaving the option blank wouldn't solve
the problem. After confirming my suggestion his immediate response tells me
that he has failed to load the driver.

I am realy curious about what to enter here or how to skip this option. If
anyone has any suggestion please let me know.
If you want to see this "strange" phenomenon for yourself, you can downbload
the bootdisk at ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/current/boot/boot.iso

Thanks for your support,

Ralph
