Why do want to muck around with the partition layout at all?
There's no need, just set the partition type to linux,
create a file-system, mount it somewhere and edit /etc/fstab.
Remove +SIGNS and www. if you expect an answer, sorry for
inconvenience, but I get tons of SPAM
