Hi gang,
I asked this on the mailing list, but never got any answers. I install
camstream, but don't do 'make install' so that I can run it from my 'home'
directory as user. I've also tried after doing a 'make install', but still with
the same results. User also belongs to ftp (among other things of course), but
if I try to upload a snapshot every x seconds to my webpage as user, a dialogue
pops up reading something about server host couldn't be resolved. If I run
camstream as root though, it uploads just fine.
I've checked permissions with the camstream directory in 'home', but don't
know what else to do. I was able to use camstream perfectly with 8.0 as user
ftp'ing uploads, but with 8.2, as user I can't. As user I can ftp with Igloo
just fine, just not with camstream though.
Anyone have any possible ideas what I could do to be able to ftp as user?
John
