I Believe SuSE Really Screwed Big Time Upgrading KDE-3.1.4

Hi All,

Please don't get me wrong. I had a working KDE-3.1.3 upgraded to my old
SusE-8.1 Pro Linux machine and it was able to compile most of the third
party KDE applications, i.e. kmess, noteedit, kopete, etc. Now, that I have
my system upgraded to KDE-3.1.4 with new qt-3.2.1 library, the compilation
of most KDE applications break, i.e. Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (library
qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!, and/or the following:

/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Seek_Stream'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Get_Short'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Forget_Frame'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Access_Frame'
/usr/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.so: undefined reference to `FT_Get_Long'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I thought I could trust SuSE to upgrade with KDE-3.1.4 found on the SuSE FTP
site. However, apparently it is not the case in this matter. I hope SuSE
does lurk into this NG and notices this problem with the fixes in the near
future.
