ifconfig reports bash:command not found
when I click on the kinternet tool (the one that looks like an electical
plug-in), I see the lightning bolt but it doesn't connect. I'm
double-booting and when I go back into Windows everything's fine. This
has happened before and seems to be a feature of Linux. Internet
connection is iffy and can disappear at any time and then come back.
I've got an Hitachi laptop that I was running Mandrake on. Used wvdial
got the modem working just fine, it was amazing. Then one day, it just
quit, no apparent reason, hasn't worked since. Go figure. But thats
another story.
