Repairing sectors sounds bad. I had 2 HDD crashes the last 2 years (both
times DFT reported bad sectors). Result of a bit googling was: forget
repairing, do a backup if possible and send it back to the manufacturer.
So did I. Both times IBM replaced the defect HDDs without any trouble.

If you have warranty for the HDD, go to Hitachi's RMA page and send it back.
