Hi Uli, try looking at the US Robotics pci modems, I purchased one a year
or so ago that said on the box that it worked in Linux, and sure enough it
did !
It sets up as ttyS2 on my machine and all is well (its a hardware modem
not a winmodem) once I make the symbolic link to /dev/modem.
If you like I could get the model number but I but I don't have it handy.
Think it cost me 49 US$.
Sorry I have not tried it with Hylafax.
