Hi there,

I hav server with SuSE 8.1. It works fine currently now (NAT, router),
but some days ago it has stopped SSH, XDMCP, FTP connectivity. So I
unable to manage the server remotely.

When I log in with SSH, I can type little commands and even get answers.
But if I try to list large directory, SSHD stops responding. When I log
in fia FTP, I unable to read directory at all.

There where recorded in logs, that any remote session (SSH, FTP) is
abnormally terminated. It seems to be, that server transmits little
portion of data and stop transmitting. Due of this I also cannot
establish SSH connection from server to workstation. In case I try to
list little directiory, it works, because server types several
filenames, but if I try to list large directiory (for example, 100
files), server need to type more data and stops responding.

But despite of this router and NAT work fine.

What can be the reason of this strange situation?
