I for my part still feel that it is not right to restrict access to media
contents the way it is done now and will be done in future. It is a shame
for any free society to sell for cheap their freedom to a bunch of
profit-makers, not controlled by any democratic institution.
I'm talking about the scrambling of DVD content, which allows a small group
of companies to define globally (!) who should have access to DVD's
(Windows- and MAC- users, and now Lindows) and who not (the rest). But I
also talk about the upcoming DRM (Digital Rights Management) danger -
allowing for a group of (again not publicly controlled) people to control
access to media on your own PC !
This may be legal but it is definitely not right!
Watch out!
