You have 2 methods. First method is SaX2. You can run it by typing 'Sax2'
from either the 'Run Command' in the K-menu (assume you're using KDE) or a
terminal (any desktop), run YaST2 and click 'Hardware' and 'Graphics Card
and Monitor', or Kmenu->System->Configuration->SaX2. This is the utiliy to
setup all of your video as well as you keyboard and mouse for the X window
server in SuSE Linux.

The second method is (KDE again) Kmenu->Utilities->Desktop->Screen Resize
and Rotate. This requires that you initially setup SaX2 to to highest
possible resolution you wish to use. Then, you can set it to either that
resolution or something less within this utility.

When you set your video up in SaX2, remember to adjust your refresh rate by
changing the size of your desktop within the utility. You want a fairly
high refresh rate to avoid headaches and eye problems. My system is running
a 79MHz refresh rate.
