I'm running SuSE 9.0, and an HP x4000, dual XEON
2GHZ, Hyperthreading enabled, 1GB of RAM,
Ultra160 SCSI, Comcast Cable, @ 256UP/3000DOWN,
Linksys BEFCMU10 cable modem, Linksys BEFSR81
router. I've tried both Konqueror, and Mozilla,
no difference.

My web browsing is unusually slow. Some links
won't even load completely. They get to about
99%, and hang. Others snap in fast, as they
should. I hate to say it, but running a Windows
box, on the same network, and the same links, I
do not experience this lag. Any suggestions?

One of the worst links is:

http://www.theregister.com

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
