|From Windows Device Manager
|HDD is ST380013AS
|Network adapter is Inter(R) PRO/1000 CT Network Connection

|It is a very new machine barely a month old.

|Which drivers should I select?
|I do not know where to get the parameters for any of the above.

IDE disks are automatically handled, you don't need to supply any
parameters.

|Someone in the previous posts suggested to simply try the Realtek one

Realtek for HDD, you mean the NIC perhaps? No, use the Intel e1000
driver.

|not give them. For Network adapter I used Intel PRO 1000 from menu.
|Again I could not supply the parameters. I have the Live CD. Anyway I
|can find them out through that?

You don't need to supply any parameters for the NIC, PCI NICs are
autoconfiguring and the driver will find the right addresses and IRQs.
But you may need to supply the IP address of the SUSE FTP server for a
FTP install, so find that out and write it down. If you are going
through a DSL or cable router, you should select DHCP and then the
routing is handled automatically.
