nvidia fx5699 fx ultra woes

I have read the prececedeing info but it has not llend me to a solution
to getting the nvidia drivers or even yast from freezing my pc.. Is
there any condenced instructions on how to get the kernel headers to run
the nvidia installer in order to get it workinking ( i have searchied
for kernel, kernrl-source, kernel-headers, kernel..etc and i can't find
what i neeed. I have notrouble with my maqndrake system. Thanks in
advance...robbie
