The *Kludge* that worked:
1. Put the CD into dos box; ran ftp.
2. Connected to remote Linux box.
3. Transferred a few CD directories (ASCII mode) to Linux.
4. Transferred *back* from Linux (ASCII again) to target dos directory.
Well, if that worked, I thought to ftp to myself (all in dos) using
local ftp service. Transferred files, but files remained unix format.
Kevin, if you find that C code, send it along; this is becoming
another project. Funny how the simple moving some files from a CD
turns into such a hassle. Now, what was I trying to do a couple days
ago when I got on this sidetrack? :-)
