I am running SUSE 9.0 Pro install.
I have a Matrox G550 videao card and there are two monitors connected to
that. They work great, configured in Traditional Multihead, because the
sizes are different (1600*1200 and 1024*768)
I have problems looking at movies on my second screen (screen 1) in
both real player and mplyer. All works well in 'screen 0'.
xvinfo gives me:
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
Adaptor #0: "Matrox G-Series Backend Scaler"
number of ports: 1
port base: 69
operations supported: PutImage
supported visuals:
<snip>
screen #1
no adaptors present
My guess is that I should have some form of Adaptor in 'screen 1' as well.
The reason is that I want to see movies on my second screen, while I
work on my first one.
Most other programs work fine when I start them up (only Galeon will
start up on screen 0, even when launched on screen 1)
What is the solution to this, or where can I find the solution? A
websearch gave me a lot of chinese pages, so I do not even know if they
were related to the problem. What other info do you need?
Another question I am not yet able to find is:
How can I move a program from one screen to another. I am running
Windowmaker. 'Move to' only give the other workspace on the same screen,
not the other workspace.
Last question, how can I decide on what screen and/or workspace
something needs to start. I asume it has something to do with 0:0, 0:1,
1:0 and 1:1 (I have 2 workspaces on each screen)
