Hi!

Is anyone successfull in using a SATA disk with SuSE? I'm having problems
my Silicon Image 3112 (onboard controller on an Abit NF7-S), a Seagate
Barracuda 7200.7 SATA and DMA. System installed is SuSE 9.0.

Everytime I enable DMA (DMA66+) for the SATA-disk, the machine freezes. On
DMA33, it seems to work ok, but on boot Sil3112 timeouts on errors (when
testing the DMA). I've tried Kernel 2.6.0test9, but it didn't help.

Thanks in advance!
